Striker Report
Prologue
Millions of years ago, there were five goddesses that were appointed the protection of beings. All five of them went by the name of Destiny Gods. They watched over the universe, each goddess watching over a very large section of the spacious and limitless universe. They were in possession of technology that had surpassed anything a mortal being could ever even dream of and never used it because they felt they never needed to. But after the progression of time, they wanted to give the habitants of the universe they watched over a chance to use the ancient and advanced technology. They gave it to a certain society first, feeling that they, out of all the other different organisms and complex beings, that they were worthy and responsible to take care of the several different pieces of equipment and devices. They sent them through a beam of light, not wanting to have their identity be known just yet.
Five years went by after this transaction, and the beings still didn't know what the pieces of metal and chips were. The people finally figured out that it was the goddesses that gave them the technology that helped them travel through time and that helped them solve very hard and dangerous problems. They began to use it often, and then throughout more time they began to spread through the universe, breeding with other societies slowly and introducing the technology into their world.
Of course, after this action, many other societies got their hands onto the technology, and they terribly misused it for their own purposes and desires. After several more years had passed by, the Destiny Gods found this as a very critical problem, and decided to turn off the technology all together. They left five exceptions however, five of these different groups had used the technology correctly and for good from the very beginning. So these became the exceptions that the Destiny Gods made across the universe, allowing five sections of official groups, that they personally called the 'Time Bounty Hunters' to exist. Certain rules were placed on how they were to function, and they easily expanded to become a powerful group that looked over furry and human kind.
Through these sections however, only one couple from each group had been faithful to the legend of the Destiny Gods ever since receiving the technology, understanding the message relayed in their technology and staying true to it's word. So three of these couples in the five sections of the universe had a newborn female child with a symbol of a glowing silver star on their forehead that shined for a couple of seconds after exiting from their mother's womb, but then faded away with no traces of it at all. However, each couple knew what this meant, and decided to all follow up with taking their daughters to the headquarters when they reached the age of seven. And so, our story begins at the headquarters on the Planet Choral.
Three couples walked towards the huge building and then escorted their daughters to the waiting hunters. The couples smiled at the other hunters, "I heard the headquarters looked nice, they weren't kidding." one of the husband's remarked. "You'll have to visit again some time, on a more relaxing note I hope." one of the waiting hunters replied, giving off a warm smile after her remark. One of the mothers felt something grabbing onto her pants and she looked down to see her child hugging onto her pants. "Oh she's just shy." the mother laughed softly. The female hunters began to laugh warmly as well, finding the girl's curiosity level to be amusing. The three girls that were clutching to their parents were vixens, but since they had been taken from three distant sectors of the galaxy, the vixens looked very different from each other as far as their clothing, but they looked almost identical to each other. One of the couples noticed their daughter begin to pull back as they reached the big building. She began to push her back against her mother's body as she continued to look forward at the building in front of her. "What's wrong Taya? Trust us. It will all be ok." the parents coaxed. The little vixen's purple eyes scanned the area around her, and noticed the warm smile that the hunter in front of her gave off. This caused Taya to quickly turn around and smile at her parents innocently. "Alright." she replied and began to walk slowly to the main door by herself.
The second couple watched their vixen walk further to the door. She seemed hesitant, but she continued walking by herself towards the entrance of the building. "We believe in you Faith. You're the universe's hope." they cheered. The orange vixen turned around excitedly as she heard her important role and darted her golden eyes at the hunter beside her. "Really?" she asked in a happy tone. The hunter shook her head as she crossed her arms, "Hey, let's not let these girls get big headed before converting them." she joked. The couple laughed in embarrassment as Faith made it to the main door, "Oh, sorry about that." the husband remarked. The third couple helped their daughter along and stopped halfway to the door. The daughter stopped as well after she realized her parents had stopped walking with her. She quickly clung to her mother's shirt as she turned and buried her face into her mother's dress. The vixen looked up at both of her parents with her green eyes with confusion and fear. "Hope, you have been chosen for this. You must go with the others." they implied to their daughter. The little vixen glanced back at the awaiting hunter and was taken in as well by the warm smile. She let out a sigh before turning back around and walking the rest of the way slowly to the main door. The three couples only watched their daughters turn around and wave at them before heading into the main door with the hunters. "I can't believe it, our little girl is going to become a Destiny God." one of the mothers said. "I just hope that they don't regret their decision." one of the fathers said. All six of the parents nodded as they watched the door finally close.
Inside the base...
Three females escorted the three young vixens deeper into the base. They looked at the hunters that were leading them through the base, still unsure if they could trust them. The children still had doubts as they looked around and noticed various equipment around the base. They began to think about what exactly did the hunters need them for, and why would they recruit kids. They knew about the group, but they were hesitant about what the hunters would call them for if they were too young to even fight. There wasn't any other reasons they would need the young vixens. At least that's what they thought. Of course, the headquarter's base had a way of mesmerizing the mind, at least for the first timers. The vixens became no different as they entered into the master control room. The vixens gaped at the bright and big screens that were set on the wall, showing several images at once on the monitors and a lot of high-tech equipment around the room All three vixens were very nervous as followed the hunters slowly through the brightly lit silver room. The three hunters glanced back and saw the worried vixens' faces. "It's ok girls. This is a very honorable position that you will receive." one of them said. "Tell me about it, you get the best jobs in the business, better than being a princess, that's for sure." another one joked.
The three vixens continued to walk through a corridor following the three hunters, looking around at the padded colored metal walls that surrounded them. They quickly noticed that the base was definitely unique from the start with it's different type of material for it's structure. Already figuring out what the girls were doing by hearing the sounds of gasps, ooos and ahs, one of the hunters turned around to explain the reason for the heavy metal constructed as their walls. "I already see you three noticed the unique colors for the walls. "It was designed to keep us protected from heavy artillery fire. Just in case a very evil person with alot of fire power were to come and try to destroy our base. It would take them quite awhile, first if they even got past our sensors, second for the fact that we'll be already trying to stop them." she remarked. Taya looked around some more, fascinated as she touched the walls and looked at the bright maroon color shining back at her. "Has anyone ever broken through before?" she asked. The hunters began to laugh at her question as they remembered the past attempts. "Several times actually, but they never even got to breach the main door, much less the whole base." one of them answered.
They finally stopped outside of a large door, with a certain insignia embedded into the door. It was a lot different from the other doors, which was immediately noticed by the three girls. Hope tried to get a better look at the symbol, but was pulled by one of the other girls, "Come on Hope, we can check all of this out later." Faith exclaimed excitedly as she opened the door and then pulled her inside. The girls' curiosity got the best of them as they looked around, noticing they were in a large fairly lit room with five females sitting around a large table. They also noticed that a crystal ball was sitting near the middle of the table. The five females were wearing very formal gowns that were different colors for each one. The hunters continued to walk towards the table and the young vixens followed closely. "Sit my young children." one of the females said. The vixens sat in the empty chairs around the table and then scooted closer to the table. "This is where we part for now, we'll be back to take you where you need to be later." one of the hunters exclaimed. The three left from around the table and then headed for the exit of the room. "You three were chosen for this, so now is the time to claim what's yours." the second female remarked. "Taya, you go first. You must put your hand on the crystal ball." the third one ordered. The young vixen hesitated at first, but then nodded before putting her hand onto the crystal ball. After a few seconds, the crystal ball began to glow and a deep purple spherical light began to float above the vixen's head. This began to amuse Taya and she smiled and began to laugh. The five females smiled at her happiness and then nodded to each other. "Taya, you are proclaimed a destined one. You must watch over this universe with the help of four other destined ones. You however will now be called Trust." one of the females said.
Suddenly a purple glow formed around one of the females and then slowly beamed out of her body. The female exhaled heavily and then the light zapped towards Taya. It entered her body quickly and she was thrown out of her chair by the force. The other two vixen's gasped, but the five females looked on with determination. Taya was floating a few inches above the ground and looked at the others with a small worried expression on her face. The purple light began to glow around Taya as her eyes began to become emotionless. She gently lowered to the floor and then she looked at the others. "You are now officially a Destiny God. You now have my powers to look after the universe. Don't worry about how to use the powers, it will come to you naturally, as well as seeing everything that goes on in the universe." the female informed. Taya stood up and then began to float slowly from the ground. She smiled and had a happy expression on her face. "I can fly too!" she shouted excitedly as she began to float slowly through the room. "Yes, but soon you will realize you can do more... much more." the female said.
"Faith, it's your turn now." the other female said. The other vixen nodded and then put her hand on the crystal ball. Soon a gold glow of light beamed above the young vixen. "You too, were destined. Now you must receive the power." the female said. Her body began to glow a golden color and the light shot out of her chest. The female exhaled heavily as well and then watched as the light zapped towards Faith. It entered into the small vixen's body and then she began to float, just as Taya did. After a few moments, the young vixen fell onto her knees and then she began to notice that she could see visions of other people doing good and noble things. "Yes, you're exercising your powers as well." the female said. Faith stood up and walked slowly towards the table, she sat down in the chair as she looked up at the ceiling, just lying back as she continued watching the visions.
"And now for Hope." the third female said. The young vixen sighed and then slowly put her hand on the crystal ball. From the female a green glow of light could be seen exiting out of her body. The light zapped Hope and the young vixen began to glow a bright green, just as her other two new friends had. A few moments later, she was lowered onto the floor and she floated as well. "You're right Trust, flying is so much fun." she said and began to glide throughout the room slowly. "Yay!" she shouted excitedly as she twirled through the air and then came down landing on both her feet slowly. The three young vixens began to huddle up together and started to chat excitedly about their new powers. "Now we must find the final two, but I'm sure they will come to us." another female said. "You're right, it's only a matter of time before they come." the last female said. The other four nodded and then stood up from the table. The three girls stopped talking and then looked up at the five females. "Wait... I thought there were supposed to be five of us?" Taya mentioned. "Yes there are, but usually the five never come together at the same time when they first get officially turned into Destiny Gods. Give it a few more years to meet your other two sisters." the female said. "Awwww... that long?" the vixens whined. The five females nodded and then looked at each other with sad eyes. The two who still had the powers were never going to see the other three again. The other three were now normal furries, and they were quite aged. "Goodbye dear sisters, I will miss you." one of them said. "I'll miss you all too." another one said and they all began to hug each other. The vixens only looked on, figuring out what was going on and remaining silent.
After the females finished saying their last goodbyes to each other, they smiled. "We'll see each other later, you can count on it." one of them said. The other four sighed and smiled, "I know you're right." another one said. They left the room as the three hunters returned back into the room. "Ok you three, now that you are officially Destiny Gods, you will have to be sent to the dimension that you belong to. Don't worry, you will be able to come back to this one any time you please, but the dimension you are going to will enhance your powers and really help you see what's going on in the universe, almost like a watch tower. You also will be able to control time ALOT easier in that dimension. Since you three are very new to this, you don't really have any other option but to go there, since trying to experience with your powers in this dimension would strain you and take up unnecessary time." one of the hunters explained. The three young vixens nodded and then slowly exited out of the room.
"There are also a couple of things you need to know that's crucial information. There are ten main groups of hunters. Like elite groups, that are much different from the rest of the hunters in our community. There are three hunters to a group for now, we're seriously considering adding a hunter to each group. Missions these days are getting harder and harder." one of the hunters explained. The other two hunters beside her nodded, agreeing with her statement. "Anyway, the reason for their being ten main groups is because there are ten chosen types. Each chosen type is a family that have found one of the ten spirits. There are the Healers, the Contacters, the Observers, the Creators, the Executioners, the Defenders, the Shifters, the Advancers, the Walkers, and the Protectors." one of the hunters said. "The Protectors are the most confusing and most dangerous chosen type, which is why the head group is assigned that chosen type." the second hunter exclaimed. "Oh I see, so through these ten groups, the Protectors are more powerful?" Taya asked. The second hunter a finger to her chin and then began to ponder, "Well... I guess you could put it like that, since that is true." she answered.
"Every hunter group's leader is the 'Guardian' of the 'Catalyst' in the family they watch over." the third hunter explained. "Wait... what are the Catalysts? And what is that anyway?" Faith asked. "Well... catalyst means something that sets something off... or to better put it, like a variable in an equation. No matter what the variable turns out to be, it'll always make the difference in the equation." she tried to explain. "Hmm... you'll have to try and explain that much better later... but for now go on." Faith replied. The three hunters only shook their heads and giggled at the young vixen's order, "Why of course, wouldn't want to upset the Destiny God. The 'Catalysts' are specifically chosen to do something later in life, whether they are evil, or they are good. The 'Guardian' must watch over the 'Catalyst' to make sure he or she does not become evil. Though this doesn't pertain to you three, we try to get in touch with 'Catalysts' as much as we can, at least to try and establish a good relationship with them." the third hunter continued. The three continued walking through the base slowly before stopping by a door. Before any one of the vixens could ask why, one of the hunters already began to explain. "Right now Sandra is coming to meet you; she's the leader of the Protectors, so she's gonna guide you from here." the third hunter introduced. The door opened in front of the three vixens and they saw a tall figure walk out. She was a sand colored vixen with soft green eyes, though her wardrobe showed nothing of her female features. She was wearing a large black trench coat that covered her body and a fedora hat. "Sandra, is it going to be hailing ice where you're going?" one of the hunters joked. "More undercover work, you know how these things are, Prowers are not ever easy to fool. Next best thing is to just disguise myself completely." the sand colored vixen replied. "Well we'll let you take it from here, we'll be back in a couple of minutes." one of the hunters remarked and then began to walk off with the other two hunters following her.
After a few seconds, the sand colored vixen glanced at the three young vixens and bent down to see them eye to eye. "Hi, I'm Sandra, I just want to greet you three and to give you congrats on becoming the new Destiny Gods. I'll try my best to answer any questions you have before sending you into the Neutral Zone. Don't want you girls to get lonely; we try to take care of our own." she stated. The three girls nodded and smiled at Sandra, showing they believed her. "Ok Miss Sandra, first I would like to ask where the bathroom is." Hope whispered. Sandra only laughed nervously while the other two vixens began to look around them, caught in awe again by the different technology and material they were looking at. "Well, I'll take you, just follow me." Sandra replied and then held out her hand for Hope to grab. The vixen quickly grabbed onto her hand and then walked alongside the experienced adult. "We'll be back in a minute, then I'll inform you of anything you need to know." Sandra called out to the other two children. They simply waved her off as they continued walking down the corridor. "And do you guys have anything to eat? I'm starving." Hope exclaimed. "For an invincible little girl you sure are needy." Sandra joked as she poked the vixen. "Hey, it's not my fault I don't know how these powers work yet." Hope shot back. "It beats being a princess any day, let me tell ya." Sandra remarked as she took the girl into the restroom.
