                                         APOD Features

Opening dimensions- Ever since the first APOD was created, hunters have now been able to travel through vortexs that have been opened with the help of the main power source in the transmit room. This gives any hunter the ability to travel through space and time from any location that they choose, as well as give them the ability to travel back to their timeline from any location.

Pausing time- This feature is easy to use while on missions associated with the past. Since things have already occurred, it takes no effort for the main power source to display enough energy to freeze time. Everything during this feature shall be frozen in midstrife, and will not be able to move until that hunter turns the feature off. There are certain exceptions to everything getting frozen in time. Certain devices are developed just to counter this feature, so that when everything else pauses around the person who obtains this device, they will still be able to move freely. It is common among other hunters, and is usually set off unless warned. If time is paused in the past while other hunters are next to the one pausing time, their wristband will automatically beep exactly after thirty seconds, indicating someone has stopped time around them. Rogues rarely have the pausing feature, so the hunters have no worries in keeping their cancelling device on.

Warning! If the pause feature is tried during their own timeline, the main power source will be strained upon in a harsh manner, trying to fluxuate time and bend it to stop. In other words, time will pause for several moments, thirty seconds at the very most. The APOD will then be fried, and will need to be repaired.

Rewinding time- another basic feature, but only allowed while travelling into the past. This is a bit harder than the pausing feature, as it requires more energy from the main power source to rewind time while the hunter is already in that time zone. This feature allows time to revert back as far as the hunter wants it to, and can be used to recover certain items that may have been destroyed in the past. A neon transparent shield will show around the hunter that uses this feature, indicating that they are the cause of it. If other hunters are around the one using the rewind feature, the APOD will give a five second delay, seeking to see if any other APODs are in the general area where time is being reverted backwards. If it is, the APOD will give an immediate signal to the closer APODs, making it beep, warning the other hunters to put on their cancelling feature. This process can take up to ten to twenty seconds all together, and is used only by experts hunters when dealing with fights.

Warning! This feature can not be tried during a hunter's normal timeline. It will not work at all, and only strain the power source of the APOD until it is drained of energy.

Forwarding time- yet another basic feature, and is only allowed while in the past. This feature requires less energy than the rewinding feature. It allows the hunter to move time forward much faster than it's already moving. A neon transparent shield will show around the hunter that uses this feature, indicating that they are the cause of it. The same warning feature will be given to any hunter around them as for the rewinding feature.

Warning! This feature can not be tried during a hunter's normal timeline. It will not work at all, and only strain the power source of the APOD until it is drained of energy.

Cancelling device- A separate device added into each APOD manually so it will be able to cancel out the pausing, rewinding, or forwarding feature. This device was designed to beep in all APODs to warn hunters if one of the three features are about to take place. This device can be manually stripped from each APOD and is small enough to carry around anywhere. Most rogues have their own version of this device and will continue to move normally while any of the three features are on.

Trace- This feature was created for mostly the leaders of the main ten squads. Having to go back through time constantly to check on the certain family they are looking after, it was difficult to leave notes to themselves on when exactly they left the past timeline so they will be able to enter back into the past at a later date without screwing up time. What this feature does is fully trace the timeline into the wristband after each hunter feels like they've done what they needed to accomplish for the day. They are now able to leave the past timeline with no worries and return to their normal timeline. With the trace feature on, time still resumes in the past while the trace feature records the time progression, tracing the amount of time passing by in the hunter's normal timeline. When the hunter decides to go back into the past at that specific time, they simply need to press the trace feature again to be able to return to the past with the differences still being in effect from what the hunter had done previously.

"Ghost" Mode- This feature is one of the very few that needs to be activated by entering a preset code into the APOD. It will allow any hunter that activates it to be invisible to anyone of the past upon entering the portal into that timeline. They will also have the ability to fly around without any effort and have no desire to eat, drink, or sleep. Usually only leaders of the ten main squads know of this feature, and is rarely used, despite it's usefulness. Any other hunter that enters into that timeline, whether using the "Ghost" mode or not, can still see the hunter using it. The "Ghost" mode is mainly used to observe a target carefully without them knowing that the hunter is there, and they won't need to leave their eyesight to take care of bodily needs. The sense to feel is also taken away; a great example of this is when it rains while the mode is turned on, the water will simply drop through the hunter using the feature. The feature can be turned off by pressing the same code of keys that activated the "Ghost" mode. After thirty hours of using this feature, the APOD will be completely drained and it will turn off, resulting in the "Ghost" mode now being turned off as well. Five hours are needed for the APOD to be fully recharged after being maxed out.

Warning! This feature is heavily advised NOT to be used during the normal timeline. The "Ghost" mode will work for a full minute, giving the hunter sixty seconds to do whatever they wish to do during the normal timeline. After the sixty seconds, the APOD will switch off permanently, being useless to any hunter.
This is a list of features that are used in the storyline and the explanation of their capability. This list will be updated each time a significant feature is introduced in the storyline.

It's cool that you have limits instead of some fanfictions where they have "superweapons" or devices that can do ANYTHING.

So technically, you shouldn't use the APOD at all when in your own timeline, right? :XD:
